Update
It’s almost 9am Alaska time on Wednesday, and they just took my mom in for an angiogram. If they find blockage in one area only, they’ll likely perform an angioplasty and place a stint. If there’s more blockage, or if other complications mean angioplasty isn’t the best option, they’ll schedule her for a bypass surgery. Now is the waiting part.

I do hope this goes well. The waiting is really tough, but it seems this hospital has quite a few heart specialists so she’s in good hands.

Fingers crossed for you.

J, my thoughts are with you and your mom. My Dad had a heart attack in Australia while he was on a business trip five years ago. The doctors in Australia had to perform an angioplasty and two stints were placed. Times like these make a person realize how fragile life is and how we are not always in control of everything that happens. At the same time, it makes us see how resilient the human body can be. Thinking of you guys xoxoxo
