Short update before we run out for a bit…good news is that the angiogram was tolerated and she came through it fine. Bad news is that she needs bypass surgery, perhaps as soon as Friday.
Looks like I’ll be in Alaska longer than I had thought…
good thoughts for you and your mom. the plus side being that bypass surgery is so common place these days that even though it is major surgery it is safe and routine. Your mom will feel better than she has in a while once she recovers.

My grandmother had bypass surgery at age 84 and it totally transformed her life. She became the energizer bunny!
