In NEO we do not have the googly-eyed trees that you do in CA. Perhaps with climate change, we might one day.
Do you have signs with keys hanging from them? That is a rare thing here, but clearly it happens. Those keys have been hanging from that sign for a couple of weeks now…I don’t know their story.
I’m sure someone found those keys nearby, from a jogger or walker, perhaps, and hung them there for the person to hopefully find them. I wish the one who lost them had retraced steps and found them there. The Good Samaritan’s intentions were in vain.
I’ve not seen that around here. It makes me wonder what I’d do in similar circumstances!
That was my thought too, but if I lost my keys I don’t think I’d be looking UP to find them, so might pass by. I thought of putting them on the ground after some time had gone by, but figured whomever was searching would have done so by now, so probably not worth it.
I signed up for Nextdoor and posted a photo of the keys, but I guess it didn’t help, because they’re still there.
Ally, the Biden/Harris sign has been there for awhile now, but the heart was added this last weekend. The thing I cannot remember is whether the eyes have been there or if they were added recently.
