This is my solution of what to do with Maya’s graduation lei…she had two. One she wore for graduation, and one was in our fridge for a couple of days. Seems a waste to leave it there where it was preserved but not being enjoyed. Looked online about drying them, and it seems they don’t dry easily like roses. So I found a pretty bowl (wedding gift all those years ago) and put the lei on our table so we can see (and smell) it. Such vibrant colors!
I should have done with with my daughter’s promotion lei. What a much better idea to put it on display. I forgot about it in the refrigerator and ended up throwing it away. 🙁
