Twitter Post

Just a quick post in case anyone for some stupid reason cares what I’m doing.  I don’t twitter, so this is what I’ve got.

YAY!  The Washer/Dryer just fit.  And when I say just, I mean JUST.  It’s really, really tight.  But boy, I love having a full sized washing machine for the first time in I don’t know how long.  At least the 10 years we’ve lived here, perhaps at our old places as well.  I don’t remember.  Anyway, I LOVE it.  I sometimes hug it.  Yesterday we washed the dog bed, Maya’s sheets, her comforter, and two loads of laundry.  Today is our sheets, and anything else I can find that will go in there. (oh, update!  I’m washing the mattress pad!  That would have killed our old washing machine!)

Made appointments to get the dog and the carpet cleaned, though not by the same person.  I wonder if either would do both?  Hmmm.

Also getting our teeth cleaned next week.  That’s not fun, but at least I’ve been flossing!  We’ll see if that helps.

Trying to get an appointment to get our chimney swept.  The people aren’t calling me back.  I’d like to have a clean chimney!

Going to lunch today with my friend Lei.  We’re going to try an Indian Buffet that La Luna recommended.  I’m looking forward to it.

Almost ready to mail my Christmas gifts…I’m waiting for one package, then out the door they go!  That’s a really good feeling.  After I get the gifts mailed, I can settle down and enjoy the holiday.  With a clean carpet, clean dog, clean teeth, clean chimney (hopefully) and clean anything that will fit in the washing machine.   I guess it’s going to be a clean Christmas! 🙂

Updated:  Looks like A Charlie Brown Christmas is on TV tonight!  8pm on ABC!  Yay!

That is GREAT news. All of it.

I love being able to approach the holidays feeling like there are not a million things hanging over my head.

    Now…ENJOY!

    XOXO

I’m so glad the washer/dryer fit. You are so cute to hug it. I need to get busy and finish up my christmas list. And then relax and come see you on new years!! Have a fun lunch with Lei!

Great for you ! I can imagine you feeling good about everything being cleaned for Xmas. I have planned to wash my 2 dogs and 3 horses too,but maybe the task will be too big. Had planned the flat-coated retriever to have a trim, but the lady who does this, is expecting 14 ( ! ) puppies any day now,so she does not have the time. I do enjoy cleaning and polishing everything just to get the good feeling when all is done.

Well, these are better than Twitter posts because you can put in more than a few sentences.

I gotta say, I really love that new washer/dryer!

I got a pleasantly unsuspecting surprize at the post office this morning?
My gosh…that was sweet of you!
Feliz Navidad to you,Ted,Maya and Gen!

Ohh! How was lunch? I need to remember to check that place out sometime.

I’m excited for your washing machine and dryer. So exciting! I love cleaning and really feeling like things are coming together around me. I need to still get some gifts shipped… I only have a few days so I better hurry!

Yay for the new washer/dryer…I get excited about that stuff too. Our old one was leaking so we were all gathered around the new pair “oohing and ahhing” during the first cycle. Well, at least I was.
That’s great that you’re just about done the gifts! I’m just madly wrapping now … between that and 17 loot bags and the birthday girl presents for this Saturday, I am numb…
Oh, and that Indian buffet sounds wonderful. Lucky you.

Wow, aren’t you productive! Just reading your list of tasks completely impressed me. Mrs. Ombud would be very jealous of that washer/dryer, too. She has wanted to replace ours for awhile — and the fit into the nook we currently use is a delicate issue for us, too.

Congrats again — what do you do on Dec 26? Collapse?

    I’m hooked on Twitter.

    What a happy, clean email!

You are welcome to come here and clean anything you wish!! I remember getting my “regular” sized washer for the first time and washing more than two towels. A dream come true. I also remember getting a dryer for the first time — and remembering that things don’t come out hard like they do when they dry on a line in the basement. Yes, in those days I ironed underwear so it would be soft. Ah, so young and silly!

Okay, you are one busy woman!!! I am so impressed by how productive you are! My day was pretty much: pumping breast milk, breastfeed baby, change baby, hold baby, take a few mins to sit down and check email, oh…and try not to forget to eat lunch and drink water…all while being at the hospital.

I haven’t even thought of Christmas presents and cards and I feel soooooooooooo horribly about that!!! 🙁 This will be the first year I haven’t been ready for Christmas months in advance. *sigh*

Oh, and Charlie Brown Christmas always makes me happy. I just turned 33 yesterday and I still watch Charlie Brown Christmas, Rudolph, Frosty and the Grinch EVERY year. It’s been a ritual of mine since I was a kid!

There’s a hell of a lot of cleaning going on there. Have you thought about putting the dog in the washing machine? Can I get arrested for merely thinking such thoughts?

Hope you have a clean and Merry Christmas.

*So* exciting about the washer and dryer! And, you know, since you went to the trouble of linking to Twitter, it wouldn’t be *too* much more trouble to register 😉

And also, while I’m here, happiest of holidays to you and yours!
