Oh crap…

Curses to Cherry and Big Sis, because they both told me how awesomely good these little suckers are.  So, in a fit of salty craving, off I went to Bev Mo, and I bought a bag of Spicy Thai Kettle Chips.  And then I ate it.  Yes, the whole bag.  Part before dinner, as a snack, and part after dinner, as another snack.  I don’t need anyone to tell me that an entire bag of chips is more than a snack.  Kettle Chips bags aren’t as big as Ruffles or Lays or anything, but still….a whole bag.  Oh.My.God. They’re that good.  Better than Cheetos.

Chee informed me that they have a single serving sized bag at Whole Foods.  I’m thinking maybe we need to have a picnic soon, so I can get a sandwich and a little bag.  Mmmm. Perfect.

Be warned.  Stay away, because seriously, they’re addictive.

What about you?  Are you a chip fiend?  What’s your weakness?

Aw, crap. Just SEEING that picture has made my mouth water. Those things are WICKED addictive! EEEEEEEEEE!

Wait. Are you trying to tell me that the big bag is NOT a single serving? Because, um, yes it is. It really, really is.

    🙂

My weakness is probably chocolate. The chip idea sounds good when I have PMS. Infact, potato chips covered in chocolate sound good during that time. 🙂

I’m not big on snacks but I have had those EXACT chips and they could be addicting. I bought it at Whole Foods but didn’t see the snack size packs. Darn!

Aaaah….Kettle Chips. I need to thank your hubby for getting me addicted to those. What I really can’t “eat just one” of is Girl Scout Cookies. Can you really have just one? Seriously.

Any kind of potato chip is my downfall. I’m VERY weak when it comes to the dastardly fried potato, so I would be eating an entire bag too…in one sitting!

  • Heidi

I am a Cheese Puff or Salt & Vinegar potato chips girl. Now that I read this entry…I will have to give those a try.
Other big weaknesses…the Girl Scout Thin Mint & Tagalong cookies.

I am not a salt addict, I am a sugar addict. Candy all the way, chocolate, mmmm, peanut butter, mmmmmm. Perfection 🙂

  • Wendy

Oh I love the salt…any and all…doritos, munchos, cheetos, cheddar & sour cream potato chips – pringles (oooh i love my pringles) yeah…i better not even try those –

  • Starshine

Wow! I never thought I’d see the day when you would say any chip was better than Cheetos!

I like Kettle Chips, too. They have a honey mustard flavor that’s delish.

I have to be in a salty mood for chips. One day Big sis
brought home several different flavors of that brand of chips. So we had a chip feast. I like trying new things.
    Glad you enjoyed those…

Like Wendy, I will eat anything salty and snacklike, but potato chips are my main weakness – which I definitely inherited from my mother, whose idea of a lunch for herself was a Pepsi and a bag of barbeque chips. 🙂

I love Kettle Chips because of the salt and extra crunch, but I have no idea where I might purchase this particular brand. They sound wonderful. Any ideas?

Oddly enough when I was at the grocery store after reading this entry this morning, I came face to face with the Spicy Thai Kettle Chips. All I have to say is thank goodness I got the small snack size bag. They are FANTASTIC. I think I have a new favorite chip.

I remember two springs ago when I discovered Kettle Chips and Flickr in the same week. I would come home from work, wrap myself in a blanket, browse Flickr pictures for hours, and eat pounds and pounds of Kettle chips. I made myself sick. But I was in heaven.
I didn’t know about this flavor. I’ll keep my eyes out for it, looks delicious.

Guilty. All of them. Salt and Vinegar. Ketchup. Pickles. Lay’s Smoke Bacon. Miss Vickie (droooooolll….)

    The crunchier, the better.

I think I just gained 3 pounds thinking about these chips.

Where I live we have a lot of local pretzel and chip makers. The best chips are called Deiffenbach’s and they are fried in lard. Gross, I know, but fabulously delicious. YUM!

  • Jo

I am a chip whore. Its my downfall, big time. My ‘treat’ would be Miss Vickies Sea Salt and Malt. My dirty and nasty treat would be regular ruffles with onion dip.

    ….shame.

  • J

Oh Jo, the ruffles with onion dip is a beautiful thing…take no shame in that! Heck, I also love the Ruffles with a little jar of Ranch Dressing dip. YUM!
