What a transformation! I should have taken a similar picture of a pseudo-JApanese maple in our garden that was reduced to a twig by inappropriate pruning (dudelet) and then had a builders bucket of cement dropped on it. It’s now about seven feet high and completing and lushly dominating its surrounding area. Plants can be amazingly hardy (and on this planet, they need to be)

Good they were revived. We’ve had a little too much rain here. My plants need more sunshine.

We just had what is often referred to as a “gulley washer”. Now the lawn REALLY needs mowing!
