In times like these, it is good to have a sense of humor! Sunday there was a fire near the base of the bridge, and the wind was so strong that a spark blew over the strait there and started a fire in the town on the other side. Tinderbox conditions. I wish it would rain.
By the way, both fires were put out within a few hours and I don’t believe anyone was hurt, so that is good news.
