Here we are again, our softer side. Same day, same photographer, just different clothes. I noticed that the quality of our actual picture here isn’t as good…I’m not sure if that’s because this is a ‘proof’, while the picture last week was a print that we ordered, or if it’s just that this one has gotten more oxygen in the 20+ years since it was taken.
How fun…Thanks for sharing these blasts from the past. I have one…but I’m way too embarrassed to post. Plus it’s huge. You’ll have to come over if you want to see it 😀
I always wanted to do photo shoots and have been bugging my brother to do one with me for our parents. I bought a package of multiple sittings from a local photographer when I was in my early 20’s, but have no idea where those ended up. Even did one sitting with my then boyfriend, because you know he was like the one or something.
I really like this pic, but the balloons are kind of odd. But I’m not sure what else I would put in there. Seems it’s being used for balancing the shot, but there’s just something about them that seems out of place. And yes, I know I’m obsessing about something trivial. 🙂
And Ted, I agree that the balloons are odd, but now that we are looking at these pics in retrospect, it just adds to the hilarity of that whole decade of fashion, which I must say, J is pulling off with panache!
So glad you’re posting these. I may have to go fishing for some old pics now!
