Christmas Day, Portland. One thing we were hoping for was that we would see a little snow while we were up there, because Maya has been to the snow before, but never seen it falling from the sky. We got our wish, a Christmas Day dusting of fluffy white flakes…first time it’s snowed on Christmas Day in perhaps 60 years, they said. Excellent. 🙂
For us Californians…falling snow is pretty darn cool! I really like that pic.
PS I really think you would like Eat, Pray, Love. The first quarter of the book is about her trip to Italy and falling in love with the food there. It will suck you right in.

Too cute. I remember the first time I saw snow falling from the sky. It was so magical! Don’t ask me what I think of it now, though 😉

That was so cool to have snow on Xmas…too bad it was “Sickmas.”

That is a lovely picture, I can just see it as a painting.

That does look like a painting. So, is it snow or sleet? Either way that dose of green does me good.

That’s so sweet! Awww… I can feel the chill.

Theresa, It was snow, though it looks kinda sleetish in the photo. It was big fluffy white flakes, believe it or not, but they were mighty wet.
