Throw One Shoe…

Ted mentioned the other day that our economic situation is so bad, that even if every American man, woman, and child were to chip in $1 or $5, it wouldn’t really help anything.  I thought, but what if every American man, woman, and child were to throw one shoe at George W. Bush?

Heck, even if every man, woman, and child in DC next Tuesday threw a shoe, surely at least one would hit him.  THAT’S a movement I could get behind.  You have at least one extra shoe lying around, don’t you?  That you’d be willing to donate to the cause?

A girl can dream, right?

    I figured you would be on a “she who shall not be named” rant after her latest book hit the Best Seller’s list!!!!

    It would have been hilarious if everyone would have thrown condoms and cigars at Bill Clinton back in 98!!!!LOL!!!!

    Thank you for the great big laugh today! I have some “yard shoes” in the garage that I’m sure are caked in dog poop. Would that be wrong?

    HA! Jimmy, people think he’s a good person? I’m mortified. Actually, I was at lunch yesterday with a group and one person said that he may be an idiot, and he may do things that we don’t agree with, but at least he’s honest. What? He’s a lying liar! He lied to the American people so many times I can’t keep up! So we said, Oh, like he was honest about Iraq? And he was honest in pointing towards Iraq as connected to September 11? And this person said, Oh yeah, you’re right. He’s a liar. 😉

    Be honest with yourself. You can’t blame it on one person? Bush had to have support from the congress and many many politicians out there to do what needed to be done in Iraq! Even Hillary agreed to the it! Of course now she’s denying it or saying if she knew what she knows now she wouldn’t have voted for it! They all use Bush for the scapegoat!

    Mark my words……Obama will send our troops into Iran. Yes Iran!!!! It has to be done, and I think he will do the right thing if needed. Hopefully he wont catch all the flack for it like Bush did…….he can just blame it on Bush for starting it, and Bush is the kinda guy who doesn’t mind taking the blame as long as what’s needed gets done!

    Iraq is just a staging ground to hold Iran in check!

    If Obama ignores Iran….it’s just a matter of time until another 911.

    Mrs. Ombud recently mentioned a charity that was gathering old running shoes to be recycled. I’ve had a motley collection out on the backdeck that I use for yardwork. I relinquished one pair, but now wish I could have tossed them at Dubya first, before they were recycled.

    Dubya re-use, right?

    Re Iran, I am concerned that Israel will draw the world into nuclear war. But Israel aside, how much does Iran threaten us? We’ve had enough saber-rattling as well as well as initiating warfare. We need to strengthen our ties to the UN, employ more diplomacy, and not give in to kneejerk warmongering so quickly as Dubya did.

    This made me giggle. I can’t see really throwing my nice shoe at the pres, or having to feel guilty if it hurt him, nah. But it’s hugely appealing as a symbolic gesture.
