(Nearly) Wordless Wednesday April 8, 2009 / I think that I shall never see A poem lovely as a tree. ~Joyce Kilmer
Ted April 8, 2009 at 8:03 am Lovely, yes, but if I can add a line of verse to the poem, it would be this: “And the source of my allergic misery.”
Autumn's Mom April 8, 2009 at 10:02 am hahaha Ditto Ted. It all looks so beautiful. I would love another clear crisp day!! Maybe this weekend.
Donna April 8, 2009 at 12:31 pm You said it Ted! I’m venturing out for the first time after the rain. Here’s hoping the pollen has been beaten down enough…sigh.
Starshine April 8, 2009 at 8:53 pm Beautiful photos, and a great quote, too. I love the jacaranda that start to bloom this time of year! xo and miss you!
OmbudsBen April 11, 2009 at 10:28 am I don’t usually remembering quotes verbatim, except for some Richard Brautigan and Ogden Nash poems. I think it was Nash who wrote: I think that I shall never see a billboard lovely as a tree. Perhaps, unless the billboards fall, I’ll never see a tree at all. gorgeous trees, J. I like pollarded trees a lot — it’s cool that it extends their lives.
