Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends! This is our table from a couple of years ago, I haven’t gotten this far yet. Still in the ‘make a list for the grocery store’ phase. Enjoy your long weekend and family, if you gather together. We celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving, just the three of us, because Ted was born in Ontario. I wish it weren’t going to be hot today, and hopeful that the turkey breast we buy will fit in the toaster oven.

I hope it was a lovely Thanksgiving. It’s my favorite holiday–no gift giving! (besides lots of food)

Thank you Margaret! Yes, we had a lovely day, and I agree, Thanksgiving is the best.

Oh, that’s wonderful that you’re celebrating the Canadian Thanksgiving – do you also celebrate the American Thanksgiving in November then?
J
San, oh yes, we absolutely do. Canadian Thanksgiving is small, just the 3 of us. American Thanksgiving is much bigger, and we get together with Ted’s family. Last year was relatively small, only 8 of us, so we hosted at our house. This year will be 15. Much bigger. And there is no way we can host 15 people in our little townhouse, so it will be at my in-laws. They throw a great party, but they’re getting older so we try not to burden them if we can help it.
