Looks like that Groundhog was right, and spring came early this year, huh? Technically, there are 4 more weeks of winter…and, really, a big winter storm coming tonight and tomorrow, but these are the pictures I took yesterday while walking Genevieve around the ‘hood.
Oh, that’s beeauuutiful!! Thanks for the pictures! I had some for my Chinese New Year post too. I heard the winter had been mild aside from that valentine’s day storm.
It has been lovely to have all of these blooms so early! However we’re supposed to have a winter storm moving in this week, and I hope that doesn’t mean too much more damage.
usually at this time of year our forsythia, daffodils and jasmine are blooming, too! but we just got finished with an unseasonable cold snap, so everything’s late. thanks for sharing what i’m still missing!
Very nice! Sadly, when I see those blooms, I just think of allergies. 🙁 I know, it’s quite a Debbie Downer moment to an otherwise pretty collection of photos.
I am so envious of your Spring flowers. We are a few weeks behind. I do have a couple of Daffadils blooming. It was 70 today so it won’t be long. I am so ready for winter to be over. I’m sorry for complaining, all you Northern States. I should just be thankful for what I have.

Wow, that’s so envy-provoking. Here in Milan, we do have a bunch of blooming purple irises, but not so many flowers as you.

GORGEOUS! I love Japanese Magnolias. There are some in bloom outside my office building and they make the air smell divine!

Wow, beautiful, J, what a feast for the eyes! Unfortunately, we are still in the throes of winter here in Ontario!

Ahhh, we just got back from San Francisco and we saw the beautiful magnolias and cherry blossoms! Great pictures!

I love magnolias. They had them on campus and when Andrew proposed he gave me a magnolia blossom. They’re so pretty.
