These were all taken on my morning walk recently through one of our local parks. I have Fridays off from work, and these were taken on a Friday, when I had a bit more time to slow down and snap photos. I rarely can make it here and back on a workday.
It’s definitely showing off, isn’t it? Do you have weeping cherries where you are? I remember seeing them in Philly. Are there any in my suburb? I have no idea, but gosh, they’re spectacular in bloom.
beautiful! here is all ragged bits of flowers the rabbits ate ad also smashed rabbits on the side of the road. rabbits are the rats of the suburbs. bah humbug.
Oh, smashed bunnies! That is a humbug for certain. I used to see a couple of rabbits in the foliage nearby if I was out early, but it’s been several years now. I think there were only a few and they didn’t multiply much.
We had a stupid heat wave a couple of weeks ago (90F) but this week has been beautiful, 70s and low 80s, and humidity isn’t really a thing here. It’s been lovely. We’re supposed to get rain this weekend, and I’m thrilled.
I love spring blooms. The trees are a riot with them here in DC – and in so many random places and so many colours. I’m always sad when blossom seasons comes to an end.
I love the randomness of the spring blooms too! There is a row of beautiful blooming trees at a local gas station, they lead you right to the car wash.
Yes, this exactly. They spring up in weedy areas betwen parking lots and chain link fences and by the Metro tracks and they can make any place beautiful for a week or so.

Oh, it looks so beautiful. And warm. I’m quite a bit jealous over here.

I love this too. There’s a business nearby that has wisteria by their garbage cans and it’s so perfect.

Pretty, pretty, pretty. We have yet to see a flower budding here, yet. But the temperatures have jumped, so I’m ever hopeful.

The first trees that blossom are always so welcome, even here with our temperate weather. I can only imagine the relief after a snowy winter!

So pretty. Hooray for spring. It has not exactly arrived in my area, but I know it’s coming! Great pictures.

Soon! Hang in there!
