Sunday Funnies

This one made me laugh. It reminds me of when I’m frustrated with Maya because she goes through hair conditioner too fast or is late getting out the door in the morning, and she says something like, “Well, at least I’m not addicted to drugs or pregnant or anything.” Yes, at least. That’s setting a low bar, but still, she’s right.

I really miss Calvin and Hobbes. The expressions on those characters were the best.

“Low Bar” expectations, Dramatic expectations…I used to get those, too, and still do from my sons. It’s true that they didn’t grow up to be addicts or murderers or abusers, but then, OF COURSE THEY DIDN’T. I worked my head off (and a few other body parts) to make sure they didn’t. So they have to clear a little bit higher bar than that, right? 😉

Hilarious! I love Calvin and Hobbes so much, and though I wish it was still being done, I at least can enjoy some of the books of collections I have.

In some situations, the low bar is the best choice. 🙂
