Ted and I went to Sausalito for his birthday….he for a bike ride in the Marin Headlands, and I for a walk around the area. These are houseboats, or maybe that’s not what they’re called, since they are clearly on a solid foundation, but they’re right there on the water. The first picture is the path between their front doors, then one house’s side view, then the ‘back doors’ to the water. Clearly it was low tide when I took this.
I liked the sign to Eureka and San Francisco, because it offers no perspective at all. San Francisco is about 4 miles south, and Eureka is about 230 miles north.
I love Sausalito! Just like I adore almost all of that area of Northern California!
Never been to Eureka before, though…
And happy belated birthday to Ted!
