Mark Knopfler is such a distinctive musician. There’s no one else with his voice, or his guitar work. I know some people don’t like his voice, but I adore it.

This video is about the British soldiers & the Falklands war.

    Side two of Brothers in Arms was always my favorite side — which, of course, is the side with the title track.

    mark knopfler is without a doubt the best singer/songwriter living today! i have never heard a song of his that was not excellent;shangra-la is such a good cd as is to kill for crimson and the ragpickers song…they are all winners ! and too many to list here…..listen to this man!!! judith redman
