Meme Monday

(image found here)

OK, one way to get through NaBloPoMo is to do a few memes. My plan is a new meme every Monday. I saw one over at Jessica’s place, and I decided to divide it between two posts. So you’ll get half today, and half next Monday. 🙂

Ten Things I Wish I Could Say to Ten Different People Right Now

1.  I miss you.  I forgive you.
2.  Good luck tomorrow.  We’re all counting on you.
3.  You kick ass.  I want your dreams to come true.
4.  You kick ass.  I want your dreams to come true. (different person, I swear)
5.  I’m thinking of you, and really hoping for the best.
6.  I’m thinking of you, and really hoping for the best. (different person, I swear)
7.  I worry about you.  This is the only life you have.  Make good choices.
8.  I wish I could take you to the park and play for the day.  Let your mom rest while we go get pizza or something.  x 4.
9.  I miss you.
10.  Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Nine Things About Myself

1.  I’ve been flossing my teeth.  Yay me!
2.  I get grumpy when I’m sick.
3.  I truly love pasta.  Mmmm.
4.  I’m very fortunate in so very many ways.
5.  My friends ROCK!
6.  I’m a slow adapter.  I still have my first iPod, and my first cell phone.
7.  I’m bossy and opinionated.
8.  I love the rain.
9.  I enjoy taking a walk SO much more than going to the gym.

Eight Ways to Win My Heart

1.  Be kind.  Not cloying, but truly kind.
2.  Care about people.
3.  Believe in yourself.
4.  Be a good cook.
5.  Be a good friend.
6.  Make me laugh.
7.  If you have children or pets, be a good parent to them.  Or owner.  You know what I mean.
8.  Make a difference in someone’s life.

Seven Things That Cross My Mind a Lot

1.  Wondering if my mom might have lived longer without the antidepressants.  They really seemed to mess her up.  But she was really sick without them, too, so the thought process goes in circles. Ugh.
2.  How we need a new washer/dryer.   We’re afraid it’s going to go anytime now, and we don’t have a garage.  If it spews water, it will be on the second floor of our townhouse.  Not good.
3.  What’s for dinner?
4.  To do list.  For work, for home, for whatever.
5.  What’s for breakfast?
6.  Oh god, I hope Obama wins tomorrow.  And if he doesn’t, I hope McCain is a far better president than W.  I don’t really see how he could be much worse.  I’d hate to be proven wrong on that one.
7.  What’s for lunch?

Six Things I Do Before I Fall Asleep

1.  Brush and floss.
2. Read.  Sometimes only a paragraph, but I try for more.
3. Kiss Ted and Maya goodnight.
4.  Think of a few things for which I am thankful.
5.  Think of what I need to do in the morning.
6.  Wash my face.  Sort of.  I hate washing my face, so I use an astringent and cotton balls, or those Olay clothes if I have them, then I moisturize.  Gross, huh?

1. Get up and walk in the morning, then come back and do some weights.  I like this part of my day.  I take weekends off, though, so Monday is welcome and at the same time, I don’t want to get out of bed either.  With daylight saving being over, it will be lighter when I go out, which should help.

2. Work.   Sigh.  Monday work stuff is always kind of disoriented.  Like, what was I doing?  What came up over the weekend?  What?

3. That’s it.  I feel like I should have more, but really, not so much.  Oh well.  Happy Moanday!

Very nice meme! I think you were truly excited because I was flossing my teeth last night. Are you working as a spy for our dentist? 😉

Neat meme, J! Like Starshine said, it gives such a nice little look into who you are. I remember last NaBloPoMo I ended up doing tons of memes! LOL! I’m usually more inspired in the beginning of the month and as the weeks go by, I tend to get into a slump and don’t know what to blog about…hence the memes!

I just may borrow this one from you!

P.S. Thanks for your positive thoughts 🙂 Hopefully it will be a few more weeks until I post “Junior”‘s first photos!!! We have 13 weeks to go, but if we hang on at least until week 32, I’ll be happy! xo

I really like your idea of thinking of a few things you’re thankful for before going to bed. I’m going to try and remember to do that 🙂

I have been doing the thankful thing for almost a year now. It really helps to get your mind out of the negative and more into a positive frame of mind.
